PPT-R Overview

Benefit: Quickly assesses the ability to accurately track phonemes in connected speech

Appropriate Age: Identifies, for further assessment, any child (in second grade and up) who is slower than the average second grade student in developing auditory perception/tracking of phonemes in every day life

Forms Available: Form A tests phonemes [m], [l], [z], [t], and [I];  Form B tests phonemes [n], [r], [s], [d], and [i]
Equipment Needed: A computer with speakers (See "Administration" for details.)

Completion Time: 10 minutes for each Form (A or B)
